We are excited to announce the innovative new curricula at CRC Hebrew School for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year, with uniquely engaging learning experiences that bring Jewish teachings to life.
“My Jewish Treasure” invites students in kindergarten through second grade to discover the rich treasures of Judaism that make being Jewish so meaningful. Each week, students will dive into stories, values, and traditions that highlight treasures from our past, within themselves, and around the world. As children collect “treasure tokens” each week to fill their own personal treasure box, they’ll also be uncovering the tools to become their best selves: kindness, confidence, and a lifelong connection to the gifts of their Jewish heritage.
“Israel Quest” will take students in grades 3 through 5 on an unforgettable journey through Jewish history, tracing the story of the Jewish people from their arrival in the Land of Israel to the building of the Beit Hamikdash and beyond. Through hands-on workshops, interactive storytelling, and creative projects that bring the past to life, they’ll uncover the heroic strength of our people and the keys to the enduring bond between the Jewish people and our homeland.
These new curricula reflect's our commitment to providing children with a personally meaningful experience of Jewish education. Developed by the global Chabad Children's Network (CKids), these lessons deepen children’s understanding of their heritage in practical and inspirational ways.

Our Hebrew reading curriculum is based on the internationally acclaimed Aleph Champion™ Reading Program.
This highly motivational system is time-tested and proven to be the fastest and most effective method of teaching Hebrew reading and writing to the North American child.

Tzedakah:
Tzedakah, (Charity) is a basic value in Judaism and one we try to develop in our students. We begin each day with prayers and the giving of charity. Please try to send some coins to school each Sunday to help encourage your child to perform this Mitzvah.
Language:
Our students become familiar with the Hebrew alphabet, learn to read, and become accustomed to Hebrew vocabulary. This subject also familiarizes our students with the Siddur- Prayer Book, allowing them to feel comfortable in the Synagogue.
Torah:
This subject offers an overview of the weekly Torah portion, its highlights and practical lessons relevant to our day and age.
History:
We take our students from Creation to modern-day Israel including the Exodus from Egypt, The Ten Commandments and the era of the Prophets and Kings.
Holidays:
Lessons on each Jewish holiday with hands-on demonstrations fill the calendar as we proceed from Rosh Hashana through the holiday of Shavuot.
Jewish Values:
Perhaps the most important component of a Jewish education is the understanding that our religion is based on a G‑d given set of values and ethics. Our students learn the Mitzvot and gain an appreciation for their relevance in the 21st century.
Arts and Crafts:
We create projects that have Jewish holiday and mitzvah themes and will add an elegant taste of Jewish decor to your home.
Israel:
Our students understand that Israel is not just another country but our own homeland. A land that is truly the “Promised Land”, both spiritually and physically.
